Yoose Creates App for Discount Club Allmaxx
Allmaxx is an online discount club for students. Its new branded, location-based, deal-finding app provides access to a 3,000-strong partner network of online suppliers, which includes brands such as Apple and Sony, as well as offline local businesses and independent outlets.
Available on the Android and iOS operating systems, the app allows users to search and display offers and mobile coupons for stores in their vicinity. It also displays the distance to and location of the outlet.
According to Michael Walser, MD of allmaxx, the move to mobile was a natural extension of the company’s online business model and was fuelled by consumer expectations.
“The student generation we market to live in a mobile world where the majority of their communications, information and entertainment is accessed and enjoyed through a mobile device,” says Walser. “We knew we could bring significant new value to their allmaxx membership by developing a location-based mobile solution that would assist them in making the most of local offers while they were on-the-move.”
