Sponge's Alex Meisl appointed to IPM board
Alex Meisl, chairman of the UK Mobile Marketing Association and mobile agency Sponge, has been appointed to the Institute of Promotional Marketing's board.
Meisl will provide insight into the mobile market and advise on its role in the wider marketing mix. “Mobile is an integral part of people’s lives, but still very personal, so best practice is crucial when using this platform to engage with consumers,” he said.
Meisl has been the UK MMA Chairman for three years and co-founded Sponge ten years ago, working with brands including Barclays, ASDA and McDonalds. The IPM trade association has 300 members. Its board is are made up of brands, including Kelloggs, Heinz and Coca-Cola, as well as agencies.
