Sponge Appoints Cotton

Emma_cotton_sponge Mobile marketing solutions provider Sponge has recruited former 12snap MD Emma Cotton, who joins the company with the core remit of overseeing key client accounts. Cotton comes to Sponge from 12snap, where she has worked since 2001. She has a lot of experience of running large on-pack promotions for major FMCG brands, including McDonalds, Carling, Tango, Pepsi, Walkers and Kelloggs.Prior to joining the industry, she worked client-side as Sales Planning Manager for Renault UK.
Im thrilled to be joining Sponge says Cotton. I have always respected the companys business approach and admired its success in the mobile marketing industry. I will be helping to expand the companys client base and enhance Sponges offering to large brands through their agencies.
Sponge currently has a staff of 21 working in technical, commercial and account management roles. The company works with agencies, media groups and network operators to create worldwide campaigns for clients such as Coca-Cola and publisher Northern & Shell.
Appointing someone of Emmas experience and capabilities is great news for Sponge and its clients, says Sponge Chairman Alex Meisl. Emma will be instrumental in helping us achieve our aggressive growth targets going forward."
