Speaktoit Brings Virtual Assistant App to iOS

Virtual assistant app Speaktoit has come to iOS. Offering similar functionality to Apple's own Siri, the app has been downloaded 1.4m times on Android. By launching on iOS, the developer says, Speaktoit gives iPhone users without a 4S access to a virtual assistant, as well as offering its own unique functionality – such as searching maps outside of the US, a customisable avatar and social integration.

The app is priced at $1.99 on the App Store, and will be free to the first 100,000 users on Valentine’s Day, and for free on Android Market.
