Smarter TV from Google - Google Play Movies, TV shows, and Music on Google TV

Google Play, Movies, TV shows and music will be available on Google TV in the next few weeks, according to the company's TV blog.

Users will be able to buy or rent content available in the app store, including millions of songs and thousands of movies, directly on Google TV, and purchases made on other platforms will be shared across devices. 

Google Play titles will also be discoverable through a TV & Movies app, which will bring recommendations from live TV, as well as Netflix, Amazon and now Google Play. Subscription billing will also be available for the first time.
