Skiing Website Goes Mobile

Skiing website Myslopes.com has launched what it claims is the first European mobile skiing website, at: M.myslopes.com. The site can be accessed on any mobile equipped with a web browser. Visitors can use the site to retrieve up-to-date snow reports and other information, such as slope conditions, 5-day weather forecasts and winter sports information, about ski areas and ski resorts in 10 European countries.
Myslopes.com says the mobile portal combines the information available on its website with the ease of the mobile web, enabling users to check snow conditions while they are on their skiing holiday.
It says the mobile site will be enhanced in the coming months with personalization and location-based functionality. It will also be possible to check the nearest ski-rental stores or the best aprs-ski bars.
