Poynt Hit 12m Users in December 2011

Local search app Poynt saw 51,591 new users on Christmas Day, bringing their total number of users to over 12m. In total, 259,780 new users signed up during the last week of 2011 (25-31 December) - an average of 37,000 new users per day.

Poynt’s biggest growth percentage - 51 per cent - was on the Windows Phone OS, while the number of users increased 25 per cent on iPhone, and 18 per cent on Android.
