QuickMobile Launches TechSpec Venue App

QuickMobile has launched a venue comparison app, TechSpec, to help meeting planners and conference organisers assess and select venues.

Corbin Ball, who developed the concept says: "Site selection is critical to the success of an event, and TechSpec will help meeting professionals more effectively and efficiently evaluate and compare venues.

“With the help of QuickMobile, we have taken everything that meeting planners would normally do on paper and put it on a mobile app. With TechSpec, meeting professionals not only have venue profiles and ratings at their fingertips, they can also share and compare their findings with their event teams and peers.”
The app allows users to capture key information and add notes and photos to enhance property profiles. User can also build a detailed profile of guest rooms, meeting spaces and lobbies/public spaces that includes internet, power outlets, TVs, ergonomic furniture and other relevant services and feature. They can also rate properties on a 100-point scale. The scoring can be weighted to reflect the user's priorities. User can also quickly scan a list of venues to compare overall ratings for properties, or drill down to view ratings by category, including guest rooms, meeting spaces and public spaces. They can also instantly export all findings via email to share with others.

The app is free, and is available for iOS and Android.
