Mobile Working can Thaw Disruptions in Cold Weather, says Intrinsic

With snow and ice costing UK businesses up to £400m a day, according to the British Chamber of Commerce, Intrinsic Technology urges businesses to protect themselves from disruption by deploying technology to enable remote working. Technologies including desktop virtualisation and mobile convergence can enable employees to access corporate networks and applications from home.

“Bad weather brings disruption to the UK every winter, and it’s essential for businesses to transition through it as efficiently as possible,” says Adam Jarvis, sales and marketing director at Intrinsic Technology. ““Effective action in wintery weather depends on preparation as much as reaction. Organisations busily gritting walkways and keeping water pipes unfrozen should be applying the same foresight to their IT.”
