The Effective Mobile Marketing Awards Breaks 200 Entries
It's been a week since we closed the door on entries to the 2012 Effective Mobile Marketing Awards. We've had time to count up all the entries - over 200 in total - and it's an impressive bunch.
We've received submissions from some of the world's biggest brands, including - big breath - Barclays, Mercedez Benz, Facebook, The Guardian, Sky News Arabia, Renault, Swiss Airlines, Starbucks, Nikon, Nokia, BHS, BodyShop, VW, La Redoute, Butlins, Comet, Hotels.com, Easyjet, Sports Relief, McDonalds, Samsung, Macmillan Cancer Support, Vodafone, British Gas, Barclays Bikes, Virgin Atlantic, Pizza Hut, Nectar, Hyundai, and O2. To name just a few.
It's a truly global selection of campaigns and solutions, and a big increase on the 150 entries we saw last year - which we think reflects just how how fast the industry is moving, and the wealth of innovation on show, as investment grows.
Now, it's time for our esteemed panel of judges to pick through the entries and narrow them down to a final shortlist, to be announced mid-September.
The awards ceremony will be taking place at the London Film Museum on 29 November 2012 - and it's already starting to fill up.
The number of seats is strictly limited to 270 people - so we recommend making sure you've secured your seats. Tickets are £250.00 per person - or £2,050.00 for a table of 10 - including a three-course dinner, leading entertainment and unlimited drinks for the evening.
