Cruise.com Launches Into Mobile Waters

Online booking site Cruise.com has released an app which offers search and booking options for cruises, including detailed information on ships, profiles, layout designs, dining information and amenities.

It also includes a Cruise Countdown feature for those who have already booked a cruise, as well as departure port information and social media integration.

“An app should be more than just incorporating what is already available on the website,” said Cruise.com Senior VP Jeanne Wyndrum. “A mobile app should include functionality that is specific to the user and should make that information easy to access by the simple click of a button. Our new mobile app is designed to incorporate the entire cruise experience from researching a cruise, to booking a cruise, to preparing for their cruise and getting to the cruise.”
