Chicago’s Regional Transportation Authority Goes Mobile

The Regional Transportation Authority of Chicago has released an app version of the city’s popular Goroo website.

Goroo provides citizens with transit information and public transportation schedules, trackers and alerts. Using the app, passengers can get real-time estimates of bus and train arrivals, as well as directions, schedules, weather forecasts and more from their mobile device. 

“RTA released a Goroo app as part of the agency’s effort to enhance the customer experience and increase transit ridership,” stated the RTA in its release. “Transit riders can now access regionally-integrated, multi-modal transportation information ‘on the go’ with their smartphones.”
