Awards Preview – Ad Network or Platform
And so to the latest preview of the finalists in the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards. Today we are looking at the contenders in the Most Effective Ad Network or Platform category.
First up is Celtra, a self-service technology platform, which enables brands and agencies to create their own rich media ads. Celtra’s platform is used by eight of the world’s top 10 media agencies.
Next is InMobi. The company started life in Asia, but has since expanded globally, and now has 25 regional offices. Its network reaches 578m mobile users and more than 13,000 sites and apps worldwide.
The third contender is Fiksu, which specialises in app marketing. The Fiksu for Mobile Apps platform uses predictive algorithms to optimise mobile ad campaigns in real-time to drive app downloads and generate loyal users.
Adfonic has made a name for itself in a very short space of time. It’s now one of the major global mobile ad networks, and recently launched a DSP (Demand Side Platform) to offers its users access to real-time bidding on mobile advertising inventory.
Placecast is shortlisted for its ShopAlerts programme, which targets opted-in consumers with offers from retailers when they cross a ‘geo-fence’ within a certain radius of one of their stores.
Trademob is another company that has come to the fore over the past 12 months. Like Fiksu, it is a data-driven app marketing platform that enables app marketers to maximise their return on investment and drive app downloads.
Our final contender is TapJoy, which helps advertisers to reach a global audience of more than 750m devices through 20,000 applications. Tapjoy’s Mobile Value Exchange enables users to interact with personalised in-app advertisements in exchange for receiving virtual game rewards or other premium content.
Once again then, the size of the task facing the judges in choosing the winner in this category is clear. You can find out who they chose at the Awards Ceremony, which takes place on 29 November at the London Film Museum on the site of County Hall on South Bank, a stone's throw from the London Eye.
The event is almost sold out, but there are still a few places left. To book, contact Lisa Slavin by email or telephone +44 (0) 20 7183 5285. Individual seats cost £250; a table of 10 costs £2,150.
