Apple Store app iOS update offers Passbook and Siri

Apple has released an iOS6 update to its Apple Store app, adding support for Passbook and integration with Siri.

The company is expected to start accepting gift cards for Apple stores which will be available to purchase and send using the app.

They will be stored in the Passbook wallet and scanned as payment at checkouts in its high street stores.

The update also brought integration with Siri for iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 users, so when the user asks a question related to items that can be purchased in Apple stores, the app opens to display relevant pages.
