123play Offers Free Games in Dennis Deal
Ad-funded mobile games company 123play.com has announced a partnership with publisher Dennis Publishing to give readers the means to download free mobile games to their phones. The deal includes Dennis websites Computershopper.co.uk, Custompc.co.uk, Denofgeek.com and Knowyourmobile.com. Each will include instructions explaining how to download free games from 123play.com's portfolio.
123play.com offers a range of mobile games which include ads from brands such as eBay, Britvic, O2 and The Sun. The games are totally free to download. The deal with Dennis Publishing follows a similar recent agreement with UK website Pocketgamer.co.uk.
Consumers can get games via the web from www.123play.com, or directly on their mobile from m.123play.com. It takes just a few seconds to download any of the 50+ games on offer from publishers including THQ Wireless, RealArcade, Digital Chocolate and Hands-On Mobile.
When you launch a 123play.com game on your mobile, you see three short ads before the game. If you want to visit the advertiser's website on your phone, click to go there; if you don't, just say no and the game will start. When you're finished playing, you'll see some more ads.
“The thousands of online fans of Dennis Publishing's websites are the perfect audience for 123play's brand of ad-funded games - cool, brand-savvy and with a keen eye for a great deal," says 123play.com CEO, Markus Ramark. “Who doesn't like to get something for free - especially when it's a quality game from one of the industry's best publishers?”
