Fatwire Teams Up with netomat

Web content management provider Fatwire Software has announced that the company will resell, service and support netomat Mobility Server to complement FatWire's web content management and web 2.0 collaboration solutions.
The agreement provides FatWire customers with the ability to automatically publish and deliver web content to mobile devices, including Smartphones, PDAs, handhelds, iPods,  and iPhones, via the netomat Mobility Server. Users can also interact with and share content from their mobile devices, as well as participate in mobile community and collaboration-based features. With these capabilities, says FatWire, it is delivering the flexibility and power to enable companies to rapidly incorporate mobile devices into their web content management and collaboration infrastructure.
netomat Mobility Server is a turnkey, content syndication and community service solution that gives users the ability to receive and share content, including rich media content, on their mobile devices. It enables organisations to support the mobile channel as a tightly integrated extension of their traditional web channel. netomat Mobility Server provides a simple way of managing, delivering and sharing content via the mobile web, with support for thousands of different device models and myriad content formats.
“As individuals increasingly rely on the web as a source of instant access to news, blogs, and RSS feeds via their mobile devices, organisations need to extend their web capabilities for a more personalised and interactive experience,” says FatWire President and CEO, Yogesh Gupta. “netomat Mobility Server enables organisations to use the mobile web to enrich the web experience and is therefore, an ideal complement to FatWire’s best-in-class, Web Experience Management solutions.”
netomat CEO Kris Ramanathan says the partnership with Fatwire provides the company with a tremendous opportunity to not only expand its customer base and meet a broader set of customer needs, but also to collaborate with a leading web content management partner to create a rich, dynamic and interactive mobile user experience. “This reseller agreement extends the web content management capabilities of FatWire’s customers, so they can access personalized content when, where and how they want it,” says Ramanathan.
The FatWire and netomat teams have completed integration work. netomat server has been fully integrated with FatWire Content Server and FatWire Team Up products. FatWire Professional Services will also provide customers with comprehensive installation, implementation, and business consulting services for netomat Mobility Server.
