Mobstar Creates Mobile Survival Kit for V Festival

Lighter_v_festival Mobile content producer Mobstar Media has created a unique Mobile Festival Survival Kit for Virgin Mobile, supporting the company’s headline sponsorship of this year’s V Festival.
The suite of mobile content, conceived and created by Mobstar, includes a virtual Mobile Flame for waving during longer and more emotional guitar solos, which as Mobstar points out, is a handier and safer alternative to matches, lighter and traditional fire-making implements; Mobile Locators (coloured flashing screensavers which allow festival goers to find one another in the crowds); and Mobile Spot Lights (bright light bulb screen savers which enable revellers to find their way home in the dark).
The Mobstar Virgin Mobile V Festival content is available now from a Virgin Festival Microsite at a cost of £2. Text ‘VFEST’ to 82330 to receive the Microsite link.
“We’re delighted with Mobstar’s contribution to our V Festival sponsorship” says Simon Dornan, Head of Consumer PR for Virgin Mobile. “With a mix of great original ideas and fantastic execution, Mobstar has really added value to our mobile offering, giving festival goers mobile content that is genuinely fun, relevant and practical”
The V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile, takes place on the weekend of 18 and 19 August at Highlands Park in Cheltenham and Weston Park in Staffordshire, where visitors will get their chance to try out their Mobstar Mobile Festival Survival Kit during sets by Kasabian, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Kayne West, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, Iggy and The Stooges, Primal Scream and many more.
